DAY 3: MANCHESTER TO BURLINGTON VIA CANTERBURY
After breakfast, step back in time at Canterbury Shaker Village, a living
museum that celebrates a peaceful, purposeful way of life. Wander
through historic buildings, stroll the gardens, and admire the craftsmanship and simplicity of Shaker design on our expert guided tour.
Next, visit Night Owl Quilting Studio, a tucked-away treasure full of
vibrant fabrics, creative patterns, and warm hospitality. You’ll have time
to shop, chat, and be inspired before we hit the road for Vermont. As we
travel through the Green Mountains, take in the breathtaking views of
昀椀ery maples and picture-perfect valleys. Tonight, we arrive in beautiful
Burlington, nestled on the shores of Lake Champlain. BL
DAY 4: BURLINGTON & STOWE
This morning, dive into one of the region’s most beloved institutions: the
Shelburne Museum. Home to an extraordinary collection of Americana,
decorative arts, and historic buildings—including an entire steamboat—
it also houses a renowned private collection of Early American quilts.
After soaking in this patchwork of history, you’ll have time to explore
downtown Burlington at your own pace. Meander along Church Street,
enjoy lakeside views, or sip a latte in one of the cozy cafés. Later, we’ll
travel to nearby Stowe for an alpine-inspired evening at the Trapp
Family Lodge. Tuck into a hearty Austrian dinner as the mountains
glow with autumn color. BD
DAY 5: BURLINGTON & OGUNQUIT
We wave goodbye to Vermont and journey south through Montpelier,
Vermont’s charming capital. At Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks, learn
how sweet syrup is made from tree to table, and sample a treat or two.
Then, it’s on to Woodstock—a quintessential New England village with
covered bridges, Colonial architecture, and boutiques perfect for
souvenir shopping. This afternoon, we cross over the dramatic Quechee
Gorge and head toward the coast. By day’s end, we arrive in Ogunquit,
Maine, where the sea meets storybook charm. B

DAY 6: OGUNQUIT & KENNEBUNKPORT
Start your day by wandering through Ogunquit’s
quaint streets and coastal paths. Take in the
scent of salt air and beach roses, browse
local galleries, or enjoy a co昀昀ee by the sea.
Then, we’re o昀昀 to Kennebunkport—
famous for its seafaring heritage and
lobster rolls. After lunch downtown,
enjoy a scenic drive along the Maine
coast. We’ll stop at Nubble Lighthouse
for a classic photo op, then return to
Ogunquit. Tonight, we’ll celebrate our
week together with a festive Farewell
Dinner at Barnacle Billy’s—where laughter
and great memories are always on the menu.

DAY 7: OGUNQUIT TO BOSTON – TOUR ENDS
Our 昀椀nal day takes us back to Boston for a fond farewell. Enjoy a
panoramic city tour featuring historic highlights like the Freedom
Trail, Old State House, and Boston Common. Enjoy a bite at lively
Faneuil Hall Marketplace, 昀椀lled with 昀氀avors and energy. As we part
ways at Logan Airport, you’ll carry home the vibrant spirit of New
England and the lasting bonds of new quilting friendships. B
