DAY 3: QUILTS, COUNTRYSIDE & AMISH HOSPITALITY
Our fabric trail begins at Log Cabin Quilt & Fabric Shop, a local favorite
packed with quilting inspiration. Then, we head to Intercourse (yes,
really!) to shop at The Old Country Store, famous for its massive
selection of top-quality quilting cottons. Next, browse Kitchen Kettle
Village—昀椀lled with handmade jams, crafts, and sweet surprises. This
afternoon, we’ll venture down scenic backroads with a local guide and
arrive at an Amish family’s home, where we’re treated to an authentic,
home-cooked Amish supper. It’s an unforgettable evening of warm
hospitality and cultural connection. BD
DAY 4: LANCASTER – AQS QUILTWEEK EXTRAVAGANZA
Today is all about the stitches! Spend the full day exploring AQS QuiltWeek
in Lancaster, where vibrant quilts, inspiring workshops, and prize-winning
exhibitions await. Discover the latest trends in quilting as you explore rows of
fabrics, machines, and quilting supplies in the Vendor Mall. Immerse yourself in the hundreds of stunning quilts, ranging from award-winning contest
pieces to special exhibits. Whether you’re admiring prizewinners or browsing
vendor booths, this show is a dream come true for quilters of every style. B
DAY 5: ARTFUL QUILTS & LIVE CHALK TALK
This morning, step into the legacy of quilting at LancasterHistory, where
a private bed turning features pieces from the stunning Esprit Quilt
Collection. Its Amish quilts from Lancaster County decorated the San
Francisco headquarters of the Esprit clothing company as inspiration. Next,
enjoy a unique Chalk Talk at Barnyard Art Studio with Mennonite artist
Elva Hurst, whose storytelling and live chalk artistry will leave you inspired.
Afterward, we travel to the nation’s capital, arriving in Washington, D.C.,
for the 昀椀nal leg of our adventure. B

DAY 7: WASHINGTON, D.C. – TOUR ENDS
Before heading home, we’ll make one 昀椀nal stop at the Daughters of the
American Revolution Museum. Their exquisite collection of 昀椀ber arts
and early American décor o昀昀ers the perfect 昀椀nal stitch to this incredible
journey. After lunch, exchange hugs, photos, and email addresses before
transferring to the airport with your bags full of fabric—and your heart

pieces from around the globe. This evening, we gather for a joyful
