unforgettable collections of vintage sewing treasures. Later, browse the
Amish Country Store for fresh-baked treats and handmade gifts. We
end the day in Des Moines, where your downtown hotel welcomes you

DAY 4: AIRING OF THE QUILTS – WINTERSET & DES MOINES
This morning, we’re headed to Winterset for the beloved Iowa Quilt
Festival and its enchanting Airing of the Quilts. From the town square to
its iconic covered bridges, hundreds of quilts wave proudly in the breeze.
Explore the celebrated Piece Works Quilt Shop, founded by quilting
legends Fons & Porter, and take in the displays at the Iowa Quilt
Museum. Return to Des Moines with your camera full and your heart
inspired. Dinner is on your own tonight—perfect for trying a
local favorite. B
DAY 7: LINCOLN TO OMAHA – JOURNEY HOME
Before heading home, enjoy a 昀椀nal stop at The Sampler Quilt Shop—
perfect for last-minute shopping. Then, we’re o昀昀 to Omaha’s charming
Old Market for lunch and a stroll through local galleries and boutiques.
Finally, board your group transfer to the airport, wrapping up a magical
